If you want to add a new Java Server Node you can use those general steps:
- Make sure you have sufficient freespace (almost as same as your existing server node) on your instance directory.
- Logon to your system at OS level.
- Stop instance. (specific instance where you want to add additional node),
- Logon to CI (If you have multiple dialog instances.)
- Open Config Tool
- Select your correct instance_ID<nr>
- From menu click on Server --> Add Server.
Now you can see additional server got created.
- For memory parameter, I suggest you can copy all the parameters from existing server node including Java memory this will make sure that you have same parameters across all the server nodes.
- Make sure you change the parameters which has hardcoded value for specific node number.
- First time the new server node will take some time to start because it has to synchronise the files.
- Make sure you have sufficient freespace on the instance directory after your server is up.
- Perform system check.
